Faulty faucet...the leak that caused a $265 plumber bill
Bought this faucet for a powder bath. Beautiful look for our vessel sink. Keep thinking the flow was too hard. By the way, this faucet was a bear to install. Kept seeing a leak by the side wall....just a slow one. Couldn't figure it out, so finally called in a plumber thinking we had a pipe leaking. After tearing apart the wall, finding no leak there, tearing apart the undermount plumbing, replacing all hosed, washers, etc, found out it was a faulty faucet. Ran to Home Depot, bought another faucet....and....no further leak. So, ended up being a very costly faucet that I tried to get a bargain on by buying through Amazon. I'll be a bit more cautious in the future, and buy at a local home store where I can return the defective item and not be out the $$$.
